Three kinds of videos you need to be making and sending to your database.

Do you make videos to send to your database regularly? If not, you should be doing so. It is extremely important to stay active with your sphere of influence (SOI) and make sure they think of you when they need to buy, sell, or invest. However, it can be a daunting project, and many people struggle to figure out what to make a video about. I get it–I’ve been there! To help you with this, here is a list of three types of videos that every agent needs to be making:

1. Introduce yourself and your team. Your team doesn’t necessarily only consist of buyer’s or listing agents; it could also include extended team members, such as your lender, stager, or photographer.

“Show people why you love the area, what it has to offer, and promote local businesses.”

2. Market updates. This information is readily available from your Board of Realtors or your retail company. They provide monthly breakdowns of what’s happening in the area where you’re marketing your properties. If you’re unfamiliar with how to get those reports, please reach out so I can help you. In relation to this, consider making videos about your neighborhood which ties into market updates. Show people why you love the area, what it has to offer, and promote local businesses. Other business owners could also be part of your team because if you promote them, they’ll promote you.

3. Education and advice. Due to the significant shift in the market, people may inquire about if it’s a good time to buy or sell. To provide reliable advice, it’s essential to have a firm grasp of the market statistics since real estate is local. Also, if you’re planning an open house, make a video that includes market statistics for that neighborhood, as well as information on how you handle things.

These three points can keep you going for many videos. Plus, if you ever run out, look at what other people are talking about, and do it better. At the end of the day, just make sure that you are a trusted source of information and that you are not forgotten. If you have any questions or need advice, don’t hesitate to reach out!
